In suburbs of L.A., a cottage industry of birth tourism

The 14th Amendment is DC's sledgehammer for demolishing States' Rights and boosting its own power. Now it's being used by foreigners to legally invade America and displace its people:

USA Baby Care's website makes no attempt to hide why the company's clients travel to Southern California from China and Taiwan. It's to give birth to an American baby.

"Congratulations! Arriving in the U.S. means you've already given your child a surefire ticket for winning the race," the site says in Chinese. "We guarantee that each baby can obtain a U.S. passport and related documents."

That passport is just the beginning of a journey that will lead some of the children back to the United States to take advantage of free public schools and low-interest student loans, as the website notes. The whole family may eventually get in on the act, since parents may be able to piggyback on the child's citizenship and apply for a green card when the child turns 21.
Note to regular readers Billy Yank and Ed Sebesta: Do you really think this was the intention of the drafters of the 14th Amendment? I'd like to see your thoughts on this.

just like the empire itself the `4th amendment was not really ratified. at least not legally. Second the `4th is a fraud and makes every american a new class of CITIZEN, everybody is still a slave. The 14th is just an artificial tool they use to keep people hostage. The southern states should ignore the 14th, if the north wants it let them choke on it. For those in the north who don't know the truth , lets educate them to this fact then let them make up there minds:)

"The Chinese who are coming here to have kids are spending money on formula, nurses, hospitals, food, doctors, airline tickets," Zhang said. "The Chinese people who come here are middle class or above. They will give back and spend money."

Uh-huh. And how many times were we told the same thing about those wonderful people who came here from South of the border? Still, the joke will be on them. By my reckoning, the system they came here to exploit will be flat busted in a few more years. When that happens, their U.S. citizenship will be worth about as much as a Chinese Yuan.

I dunno, Slim, I think even if the system was busted, they could still exploit it somehow. Perhaps the FedGov makes some "law" saying businesses must be run by a "US citizen"; suddenly one of these US-"born" Chinese citizens shows up (backed by the ChiCom military-govt complex, who owns enough shares of FedGov to have a say in things) to take over a company or two, in perfect, technical compliance of the law.

Is it true that the Congress is meditating a special surcharge on areas with a disproportionate number of same-race marriages?
