The American Empire, RIP
Those who dismiss reality, preferring to occupy their own world of perpetual war and grand conquest, just can't let go. They're the ones with fiancial and political connections to the parasitical Pentagon, either as investors or as servants. Taxpayers are supposed to actively or at least passively support this massive fraud, and dump our hard-earned earnings into the bottomless pit of Empire. But as Justin Raimondo points out, the party's over:
To the rest of us, however – that is, to everyone outside the neocons’ cultic universe – the signs of the Great American Contraction are everywhere, most noticeably in the incomes, productivity, and general economic well-being of ordinary Americans. Our own CIA – never a friend to the neocons, but that’s another story – avers this condition is the single greatest threat to our national security: not Iran, not terrorism, but the very real threat of national bankruptcy. Our national debt is over 100 percent of GDP.The world's greatest exporter of death and dictatorship is getting a little wobbly - the inevitable fate of empires.

Sadly, I think we need to push for secession as it seems the only peaceful solution left. The gun grab will cause many to draw a line in the sand and tragedy will result.
Texas has gained a foothold in this process. May I suggest we start to push for this in our respective states?
VA Patriot, Yes, we need to push for secession and pray for it.
