"It was if the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street had clasped hands"
Don't you know this protest of two thousand people made the statists wee-wee in their britches:
The crowd at the protest reflected the strange political hodgepodge that has found common cause in protesting the NSA (though perhaps no stranger than the NSA’s supporters). Protesters held signs that read “Stop Mass Spying” and thanked Snowden for leaking information to the press. Some of the protesters wore buttons from Occupy Wall Street or said “Free Bradley Manning,” others wore t-shirts from the libertarian group Young Americans for Liberty.Speaking of statists, Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs denounced the rally as a coalition of "loons" and "some of the farthest right groups in America." Yes, what could be farther right than the Young Americans for Liberty? This reinforces something we've been arguing for some time: "Left" and "Right" are meaningless terms today; the real political divide is between the ruling elite and the people. I love the sound of government supremacists whimpering in fear.
